I use a car bra and racers tape to secure the edges.

Don't let anyone get in front of you.

Don't follow any cars that just got pulled from a gravel trap. Seriously, the likelihood of car damage at a track day is directly proportional to how closely you follow. Racetracks aren't inherantly more gravelly.

you cant protect it easily. just dont bothe. cover the headlight lenses so they dont shatter but that's about all the protection that you can easily get. you can always use a bra or whatever else.

but the best bet is to leave a good space between you and the guy ahead, and only get close right before the straight if they are too slow.

Do a search before considering this... there have been numerous problems reported.
