I know some of you are thinking it is a stupid idea
You already knew it was going to happen, so now you shouldn't be so surprised. If you didn't want criticism, you should have just asked where the chip is located (which I immediately answered) and left all that other stuff out. Then, once you had it done, you could post up pictures to get everyone's reactions. By posting up what you were about to do, you were inviting input. Well, you got it. It IS a public forum, populated by all sorts of OPINION.

Right. Or, to put it another way, we're not laughing AT you, we're laughing WITH you.

So start laughing, already.

Good now that I have your support I will not feel guilty about posting my opinions in other peoples' threads. Do me a favor and help me out when Dark Sub Rosa threatens to ban me

BTW, I dont mind the criticism. I just thinks its foolish that members are jumping to conclusions. But after all this is a Honda forum and I should expect no less judging by their intellect.

Ok, seriously then...the first thing I thought of when I read this thread: what if this guy gets stopped by the police and the first thing they see is a screwdriver in the ignition? For me, the funny just flowed from there.

Don't mistake "sitting on the fence" with support as such. As for your conflicts with others, that depends on who's right.
