I went badgeless for a while then ended up with the black chrome set which I want to put back on the car.

Other than taking measurements of a badged car, can you recommend a better method for accurate placement? Like how do the body shops do it?

You shouldn't have taken them off in the first place.

Ben -

I've got the Helm's manual. It has the specs.

On the left side of the car - measure 24.5 mm from the rear edge of the side marker light to the front of the S2000 badge. From the bottom of the S2000 badge to the body line (measured at the S) it should be 65mm The distance from the bottom of the last 0 to the body line should be 69.5 mm

On the right side - same measurements - just flipped around.

Ben,
The Helm "Body Repair Manual" might have proper mesurements. I'll check when I get home.

the thing is is that i have aftermarket ricer clear side marker lights on mine so i'm not sure i can go by the measurement above... u know what i'm saying my nizzles?

and the body line.. is this the creased line that goes from front to rear of the car that goes through the door handle?

given the above, any recs? perhaps measurment from fender edge to the first S?

as for black chrome, it's really hard to tell between the stock ones and the black chrome ones (s2000 badge wise). can't believe i spent $70 for these.

hehe... ricer.

I dunno... it seems to me that as long as they are even, it doesn't really matter that much. The aftermarket side markers can't be dimensionally much bigger/smaller than stock.

You are correct on the body line - it is the one that runs to the door handle.
