Get some Honda literature, like a catalog or "S2000 Acessories"...You'll find a bunch of glamour shots of the S. They have close ups of the side emblems...you could pretty much eyeball it after that. I'm on my second set of side emblems...the dealer I took it to for the install had no clue...left emblem uphill, right emblem downhill, plus they scratched my paint removing the adhesive with paper towels! They bought me new emblems, buffed out the scratches. It took myself and two Honda techs to get it right the second time. I think it was something like an inch and three-quarters from the side markers and three-quarters of an inch down from the crease in the door sheet metal. Hope that helps?

BTW I thought the same thing when I got my emblems, but once you get them installed they look way cool. they reflect the light differently and kinda change color in varying light conditions.
