Default How to reinstall weatherstripping *PICS*

For the life of me I can't figure out how to reinstall this weather stripping as shown below. When pulling out the interior during my top install this piece just dropped (or drooped before dropping as shown below) and I'm unsure where exactly it needs to go back and its orientation. It seems like there was some double sided tape on it that has since failed the test of time.

Pic 1 - Me snagging a picture before it just fell out trying to remember where it needed to go back.

Pic 2 - Both sides are dimpled like this, not sure if this was towards the front of the car or the rear

Pic 3 - Unique shape and not sure if the acute angle goes towards the outside of the car or towards the interior

Pic 4 - My best guess as to the install. I know the picture sucks but basically the dimple end towards the front of the car (into the insulation)

I wonder if was really necessary to reinstall? I know maybe not ideal but if there isn't any water entering the cabin I wouldn't stress

I literally pulled it off completely, cleaned it, then took double sided 3M tape automotive tape and replaced it.
easy breezy.

Thanks, I figured it out, as mentioned probably not entirely necessary to reinstall. For anyone needing to know the orientation of it in the future its part of this piece, and I just glued it back on referencing that front bracket.
