How to remove a overtightened oil filter
So here's a trick that might help you loosen and remove a overtighted oil filter.
Of coarse you can always buy an oil filter wrench from the dealership but it's a bit pricey and they probablly won't have it in stock.
First off wipe and oil or grease off the filter so it's dry.
Take a bunch of rubberbands and wrap them around the filter then grab the rubberband wrapped oil filter with dry hands and twist it counter clockwise.
With the added grip you get from the rubberbands you should be able to get it off with 1 or 2 hands depending if you can fit 2.
This trick hasn't failed me yet!

Good idea, but a filter strap costs 5$ and im sure it is much easier....also a filter strap is only bought one time then you have it for life.
one time for a life time unless its break which i dont will happen. Also, saves less time and hassle to go to the store to get rubberbands.
Once again good idea if you have the supply handy.
