you can actually tighten it up without removing the screws from the trunk (I did) - you do have to remove the back panels behind the seats, the center armrest, the screw in the back of the box, and the screws in the front of the "secret compartment". You can then reach you hand in the back and tighten the power port.

I was able to squeeze my hand back there with no major issues.

Got her fixed, and thanks to all -- especially ncsu-tc. I popped up the armrest and took out the screws holding the bottom of the power plug/glove box/secret compartment assembly. Then I moved the drivers' seat full forward with seat back forward, and removed the pannel below the interior roll bar pannel. The screws holding that pannel are hidden by snap-off pieces on the bottom of the two hooks on that pannel. after that, that pannel snaps off. With all this done, it was possible to pry the bottom of the pannel with the power plug out far enough to get my hand behind it enough to tighten the barrel nut that secures the power plug.
