12 volt power point is loose
The 12 volt power point in the center storage assembly has come loose. It looks like there are 4 screws under the top lid and 2 under the console pad. Is that all there is to getting that thing out or will I come across hidden screws or clips? Or worse are there any fasteners that I should NOT remove in this procedure?
TIA

If you just want to get to the power point, you don't have to remove the entire glove box....
Move the seats forward and you will see a rectanglular panel held on my two hooks. Remove the hooks and panels. There are some screws under there that hold the box sides to the body, remove them. Remove the 2 at the bottom of the glovebox. There is also one inside the vertical glovebox, you have to empty the box to see it.
You should also take the center console out, it will get in the way. Lightly pull the lower part of the box forward and you can reach behind to check the power point. Don't pull too hard, you don't want to break it.
