The roll-hoop covers are a PITA to separate as it is a continous "clip" along the seam. I do not believe it is glued. I had to separate them just to install the S-pods for my speakers (link in my sig if you are interested.) It took me a couple of days of trying to get it. I finally removed all the screws from the surrounding plastic areas (like by the seat belts.)

Good luck.

Yeah, I took out all that stuff to replace my top. The clips were actually great. I had a GM before and had to do some electrical work under the dash and almost all the clips broke. Not a single one broke when I was taking apart the S2K Just make sure not to lose em

Just a quick question, can the tray be removed with the top in place?

I believe you need to remove the rear tray IN ORDER to remove the softop. Likely need to put it up, but you should be able to remove it and leave the top in place.

Got it, good luck!

I just wanted to make sure you were not going for a custom look without any rollbars.

What tray are you talking about. If you are talking about the tray behind the seats you need to pull it out through the trunk...remove the spare tire and you'll see what's going on.
