Thanks for the responses. I finally toke a 01 S2k for drive and was very impressed. I thought it be harsh, but it is just very firm. Going over bumps was not bad at all. Overall, very fun car. I am really going to have to consider getting one.

I'm glad you find the ride acceptable to you. As I said before, it is very subjective and difficult to tell someone else -- all I can say is that I enjoy driving my S2000. Now, when you get one, don't forget to let us know.

My 02' is softer than 00' or 01'. I replaced stock springs with kg/mm race and very happy with how it feels.

I had an '01 and my '02 stock did not feel any softer than the '01. Couldn't tell a difference really.

I guess it all depends how you drive it.

The S2000 ride is rather stiff and bumpy compared to the average passenger car. But, for a sports car, it's perfectly normal. Every good sports car I've ever driven has had a very stiff suspension, as it should be.

It's not quite as bad as riding over a quarter and knowing whether it was heads or tails.

Worthington is great (last time I was there about 10 days ago)! We've covered Canton, OH, Ithaca, NY, two stops in Vermont, one stop in New Hampshire, one long stop "Down East" east of Ellsworth Maine on Schoodic Point, then a stop in Booth Bay Harbor, another stop in Portland, ME, and now we're in Boston. 1,600 miles and counting.

We've been very, very lucky on the weather with no rain, and only a couple of hot days. Roof has been up only about 4 hrs during the entire trip. The car is definitely more fatiguing with the top up. With the top down, the world is beautiful, and we have zero complaints.

We decided to count S2000's on this trip. So far, we've counted 1 (ONE), and that was in the first hour outside Columbus. Not another one any where! But lots of looks and comments.

The wife has not complained, and did some of the driving. We're finding that we're no more tired after driving this, than her Acura SLX - and it's way more fun!

See ya in another week!
