I was following the recommanded shift points from the owner's manual. I know it says 52mph for 6th, but there were cops patrolling so I did 50mph for 6th instead. It is a crusing gear, so it should make that much of a difference.

I'm getting horrible mileage no matter how I drive. 18 mpg average.

S2000s normally get in the 20s for typical street driving. Are you doing a lot of stop-and-go or something?

But it could be worse. On track, I get about 8 mpg.

I get a good average shiting at about 2k Rpm. I get 530Kms on 42.5L of fuel. Which is about 8L/100km or in US terms 29.4mpg. I have been doing this for the past 3-4months

Those second test shift points are almost straight from the AP2 manual. Only difference is shifting at 52mph versus 50mph (I think)

I did a study and i've found out that shifting at redline makes me the happiest.
