How to SAVE GAS!

S2000s normally get in the 20s for typical street driving. Are you doing a lot of stop-and-go or something?
But it could be worse. On track, I get about 8 mpg.

The only thing I can think of is the air filter, I've been meaning to check it. Would that do anything anyway? And 8 mpg, holy shit lol. Nice.

I don't care about saving gas. Sorry. More VTEC, please.
But you'll have a whole heckuvalot more fun!
During a long interstate trip, seemed to get better fuel economy driving at higher revs. AP1 driven in low 60s (~3k rpm), got about 29.5 and lots of dirty looks; MPG rose to 31.5 when driven in mid 70s (about 4k rpm). ... Wondered if this was a fluke.
I get 21.5 mpg, my daily drive consists of 15 miles total each way, 1/3rd of that on the streets shifting at 3k rpm and the balance is expressway driving at 70mph with twice a day average hitting v-tech

On a road course, you spend the whole time going WOT right up to the corner, then turning all that energy into brake heat, and then going WOT to the next corner, etc.

doubling the rpm's (from 2k to 4k let's say) doubles the fuel use, but you accelerate faster.
