I drove all day, every day for two weeks (over 5700 miles) about a year ago and with a towel placed at the small of my back, there were no other seat comfort issues (except the seat belt digging into my shoulder, that is). I'm 6'1".

You're welcome.

Two days into my trip I realized I had to do something and I happened to have a towel handy.

I was expecting discomfort in other areas as well, but was surprised that all other parts of my body felt just fine the whole time. I never stopped just to stretch (like I need to do with my motorcycle), but only to take pictures, to see something, or to get food. I'm hoping to take another multi-day trip in September to get to all of the California National Parks. I'll get the towel ready before I start.
