I'm with you...have them crate it...because if something where to go wrong and you packed it yourself that is the first thing that the claims dpt will state...I went through this with a set of wheels that I packaged myself and shipped
Thanks a lot! Im trying to find out which one Wortham used and also where the nearest place to the person I am purchasing it from is. I am trying to make it as little of an inconvenience as possible for him to ship it. Thanks for all the help!

i had my mugen shipped from delaware to arizona, so here's my advice and i think it has already been stated.

have him drop it off at a packing place that does crating. they'll pack it up right and send it on its way for you. you can also hold this responsible is somethng goes wrong.

but it's not cheap. i think for the hood and hardtop, i paid something like $300, but it's been a while so it's hard to remember.
Does anybody know a company that does something like this located near Bergen County, New Jersey? Thanks for the help everybody!

I've also used Old Dominion as well.
I just gave them a call and unfortunately, they do not crate things up themselves. Also, they told me that the price depends on whether I have an account with them or not. Im waiting for Wortham to reply as to who was used when he purchased his hardtop.
