How to take this off?

Default How to take this off?

Does anyone know how to take this piece of trim off? I circled it in yellow.




any help is appreciated thanks!

Yeah, you have to remove the rear tray, then you will have to remove the convertable top retainer, (11 nuts) then the back of your top will come free from your car, once you top is free you will have access to the pice of trim you are trying to take off. (If I remember correctly, it is a pain in the ass.)

I suggest a Helms manual. It tooke me about 5 hours to remove it on my S.

is that piece held on by nuts or is it riveted in? anyone know?

It is held in place with bolts, lots of bolts.

I didn't remove mine and got my rear qtr panel painted too. If they do a good job masking, you'll be ok
