VINYL TRIM BEHIND TOP
I realize this is a trivial item, but I want to make sure there is nothing hidden before I begin. I need to remove the vinyl trim piece just behind the convertible top opening. It appears that there are 2 nuts, one on each side of the top opening, that hold it in place. I assume that in addition to these 2 nuts there must be some clips along the rest of the piece. Anyone know?
Thanks for the help.

If you are speaking of the black trim around the top opening, it is actually an involved process. I would suggest buying a Helm's manual. You will need to remove all of the rear tray parts and detach the rear part of the convertible top, then remove the nuts that hold that piece. Some of them are rather hard to get to.
Be sure to keep your fasteners with each part. Many of the plastic clips vary in length and diameter and are easily confused.
