Default How to take off cupholder door?

My gf managed to drop a thin plastic security gate keycard for work between her armrest and cupholder. It seems like the only way to get it out of the tiny slot is to remove the door on the cupholder. It looks like it's just 2 hinges that it rotates on but I wanted to see if there was anything else I should do before I try and snap the door off the hinges.

You'll be sorrrry!
You need to lift up the whole console cover and unscrew the complete cup holder assembly from the below. Then you are best to buy a complete new one.

Oops, I'm sorry, I read your first post so fast I didn't get the key point of it. I thought you had somehow already damaged the door. Now I realize that you just want to get the card out. So, like I posted before, you need to lift the arm rest part (part #11 on the link I put up) of the console up and you'll have access to the area underneath. There are snaps along each side that need to be "popped". Work from the rear on each side and go forward till the whole thing comes up.
