just to update my earlier posts...

i was technically doing something wrong.

the factory alarm module goes in between the ignition signals and the keyless module. i cut the wires before the keyless module (but unknowingly after the factory alarm module) at first, which did nothing.

today, i cut wires 13 and 16 (in reference to the original post) before the factory alarm module, and this mod works like a charm.

I did this a long time ago as well. One of my first mods. What's also cool is, you can open the trunk with the key in the ignition, and ALSO you can unlock the passenger door as well! Now you don't have to reach over.

I also cut the wires so I can put the top up or down while driving. This comes in handt if it's starts to rain, or bad weather is coming. Normally, you'd have to pull off the road to put your top or or down, and you can't always do that.

Here is the real picture, I first used socket #10 to remove the whole module(easier for me), or you can unplug it from the module.
Plug location behind the START button( finished)

Wire # 13(Red/White), #16 (yellow) pulled out/ or cut out

Wire tube heat shrink the plug end(Yellow)

Wrap it back on and bolt it back on
WORKS WELL.

It doesn't hurt if you try, as far as I know this is for Honda remote only.

not sure why you had to unbolt it.
i just hit the tab and pulled the connector out.

made the cuts and snapped it back on.
