Default How well does the AC work?

I sold my NSX and have a 2002 S2K on order.
I would like to know how comfortable the air keeps
you warm climate owners.
Thanks.

I think the AC works very well. It puts out very cold air almost right away when you turn it on.

Combine a sedan sized A/C system with a small cockpit and we have (certainly) the best A/C I've ever owned.

I infact sometimes feel that our A/C works a little TOO well

It will Freeze you if you are not careful with the fan speed and thermostat. And it works flawlessly even when the outside temps are 100F plus.

Works very well. I usually increase the temp dial 1/4 turn or so to get a comfortable setting.

While the AC cools remarkably well, the soft top really collects heat. The car takes a while to cool down in really warm climates, especially if parked in the sun for any amount of time.

Life with a convertible, I suppose

Best A/C AND heater I've ever had in a car. Instant cold or hot. It works so well that it even keeps the cockpit cool/warm with the top down.

On the freeway it cools very well if you're at speed. If it's really hot out like 90+, under street driving you'll have to turn the fan up 3 to 4 notches to stay comfortable. I would deem the ac to be sufficient on hot summer days.
