Default HT installation HELP! PART II

Hey, thanks for all the inputs on my previous post, they helped me a lot...

I'm curretnly in the process of adjusting the HT and here is my last problem... well, hopefully...

Well, luckly, there isn't any rattle but if I go over 55 miles I definitely hear WIND NOISE coming from the driver side... Passenger side seems ok...

Is there way for me to fix this? Will the adjustment help?

Also, when you lock the rear, does this thing supposed to go ALL THE WAY? My driver side gets stuck at 3/4 of the way and my passenger side does go all the way, maybe this is the reason I am hearing the noise?

Thanks for ANY inputs in advance...

yes the twist lock is supposed to go all the way and yes thats most likely your culprit for wind noise...

Yes, I agree. The locking lever on the rear two sides is supposed to go all the way. Something isn't aligned perfectly, and is probably the cause for the noise. How do the front latches feel? Tight? Even resistance when latching for both the driver and passenger side?

There is adjustments for this top behind the two small lower panels of the headliner which you will probably have to deal with to get the alignment that is necessary for the top to fit correctly.
I've read a few comments here describing the rather tedius trial and error procedure accompaning this adjustment. It seems most owners who bought a top new didn't have to do anything with these adjustments because the top fit correctly out of the box.
You can remain optomistic since the adjustments are there and it may take you a few minutes or a few hours but you will eventually get it right. GL

Edit- I want to add some advise to all new top purchasers- Do nothing to disturb the factory settings until you are absolutly sure the top will NOT fit correctly out of the box. If it doesn't, then you have no choice other than to tackle these two side adjustments.
