Default HUGE scratch on rear bumper results in NO paint!

sorry for not having pics, but my father tripped w/a ladder and scratched the paint off the rear bumper all the way down to the black!
my car is spa yellow.
just wondering if this can be cheaply fixed and repainted or something, or will i need a new bumper b/c you can't match paint onto paint?
sorry if it's a dumb question, i just have no clue!
thanks.

The bumper needs to be removed and repaired. You do not need a new bumper cover but it will need to repainted. Any experienced painter should be able to get it pretty close.

fly,

I just revived the thread a few days ago when I saw that wing on Tommy's car. Since the thread ID# is specific to the last post, it took me a while to find where the post was actually located. See "Where do I get this one" in the General->Pics section of the forums.

I'm interested in getting this, so maybe we can do another small group buy.
