First the bad news (depending upon how you look at it)...I finally sold my S2000 (to a dealer) last weekend and am now concentrating on the other - and paid for - car. I then had to drive by the lot on the way home from work while it sat on the lot for48 hours and earned them a $5k profit (I secretly inquired).

Anyway, since then of course I've seen more S2000s per cubic parsec than at any time in the past, including the one I saw at Discount Tire today on North Research. The guy, who wasn't even there (I would never have left my S2000 or any other car alone with those wrench boys) was having some new BFGs installed on his rear axle. When he was finished, I watched one of the aforementioned wrench boys fumble and seemingly almost give up on getting the silver/black into reverse. That's after I was surprised when he found the Start Button. I'm sure they do good work though.

Seems to be a common mistake especially when leaving it with a third party.

I never leave my car with a third party. "Bueller, Bueller?"

I'm afraid of that also, but sometimes I have no other alternatives.

When I had my horns installed, the guys there didn't know how to put it in reverse either. I just told them to push down on the stick.
