Nice, I've always hoped for a manufacture to make an after market exhaust that can be controlled with a button, like a sport exhaust on a Porsche; I guess this would likely increase the cost for an exhaust.
I think the tips are flat but the appearance of the "slant" is from the angle of the picture. Do you have a picture from the back of the car?

The slant. Sometimes exhaust tips are made with a flat cut, sometimes they are made with an angle cut, which is sometimes called a slash cut, or slant.
When such an angle cut tip is used, its always installed so that the top sticks out farther than the bottom. In your photos it looks like the slant is upside down, so the bottom part sticks out farther.
