coilovers because the other mods need supporting mods to make it look proper.

wheels needs a drop
exhaust looks weird on a stock car

def. the coils first choice. reason its probly the most money but above that it improves looks AND performance. the drop will make your stock wheels look nice as well where as if you got after market wheels you would need the drop eventually to make the car look "cleaner". Exhaust is just a noice preference IMO. Not much of a power gain unless your FI. coil first wheels second!

(I do have the KWs, and I doubt if you would be happy with them on the street, but that depends on your tolerance for a very bumpy and squeeky ride. Work fine on the track, though.)
wow, coilovers seem to have it by a huge margin! and I said hypothetical, why does everyone just assume that this is the choice I'm trying to make?! well ok it is, but still! mike's above post has me a little worried about the kw v3 though. since i daily drive the car, would the bilstein pss9 be a better choice of coilover? i'd like to start tracking the car, but honestly, i don't know when or if that will ever happen.

Well I pulled out most of the interior of the car, so I can hear the shocks squeaking and hitting the bumpstops better than most people will be able to, but nevertheless the ride is going to be a lot more harsh and you will hear more noise from the suspension.

If you would really "like to start tracking the car", what's stopping you? It can't be money, because you could do a bunch of track events for the same price as a set of KWv3s, and it would pay off bigger dividends. Seriously, your car will handle a lot better with a more educated driver behind the wheel than it will with a different suspension.

But it won't look any different. So you have to be honest with yourself about what your real goals are here, and then decide on that basis.
