I almost t-boned a stupid lady yesterday, turned left right in front of me. Good thing the S has good brakes or my S would've been a write off. How bad do you think a square t-bone would have been @ 60 km/h?

Sounds like a combination of things which have all been mentioned:

(1) cold tires (think of these as racing tires that must be warmed up to work effectively),

(2) wet pavement (this is a short wheelbased car with gobs of power), and

(3) unique handling characteristics that your not accustomed to (only 1,100 miles behind the wheel - and I say only because I found this car the most challenging new car to get use to that I've ever owned)

Hope that helps..............

Guys! The poor guy is just trying to catch his breath when he tells us the story, you know?

Wait, will I see the "word....word...word...word" structure in his other posts? Lemme go check....

Ok he has another post:

"Anyone using product....called.... torando? i saw add. on TV..... that....if u install....that divice in ur intake.....it should give..u better gas milege and more HP.... IS THAT TRUE?????..."

Oh well, I guess my point went into the trashbin. But HEY, dots are fun to type, they let you synchronize your thoughts with the typing

It's all good s2kvancouver, at least you probably saved someone else from making the same mistake. When there's any wetness out there, because of s2ki, I've learned to shave off any urge to drive spiritedly, and take it all very seriously.
