I am going in again to correct the 1-2 grind!!
Went to the dealership today and took a ride with the mechanic (he drove) and he said that the transmission is definately f'ed up again.
My service rep said I shouldn't have any static from Honda Canada like I did last time (the last time I complained, Honda Canada didn't issue the TSB yet and they said it's my fault!! I fought and won).
So it is possible that the 'correction' for the 1-2 grind is not 100% effective.
I am also getting the synchros for gears 4-5 done as well as I get a crunch at high rpm...

s2k-montreal,
Did you get the TSB done? They have no choice but to correct the TSB. What dealership are you using?
Call Derrick 450-449-5050 at Honda Boucherville. He is taking care of me. Great guy.

Hey Rob what's up man?
Yeah, I got the TSB done at Excel about 4 months ago and recently, after 5000KM, the grinding problem is 100% back. Like I said earlier, I returned to my dealer last week (Honda Terrebonne: I filed a complaint for the crappy service I got at Excel) and I was told by the mechanic who tested the car that he didn't feel the grind after the car was warmed up.
I heard you made a few modifications, some friend of mine saw your car at the autoshow, did you drive your car last winter again? The last time I saw it was last year, at the Julep meet and about 4 months ago on Champlain bridge, you were with your GF.
Thanks for the tip man, I'm gonna call your guy.

Hey, King Kong...
I have a 2001 too, and i grinded at least five times, and i'm sure that it wasn't 'cause i was driving bad, because i let a friend drive it and he was having the same problem...I haven't had the problem for about a week, but that's because i have been shifting really really carefully when going into second gear. If you keep having the problem, let me know, 'cause i'll look into mine too.

So far, no more grinds. But then again, I haven't been really racing it that hard. I got pulled over the other day racing a Type R that was redone by SKUNK. I'll let you know if I grind again.
