I am a NEW MEMBER !!!
Congrats to the new yellow owners! A good choice in my book
My wife also had been "scared" to drive it even with repeated offers on my part. She had to take the S to work yesterday as I had to take her car in for service. When she came home she asked me how I liked driving her car. I told her that I like her car and she said "Good, because I like the S and want to drive it more". Then she says "Why didn't you let me drive it more this summer??"
FINALLY, we go out last night to run errands in the S and she drives. Chirps the tires at each intersection and drives it hard.

Welcome aboard, and congrats on the yellow S!
Do some research in the Under The Hood forum, and you'll see that the debate is still out on full synthetics, esp. Mobil 1. I've used it in my with decent results, but more feedback is coming in.
Happy motoring!

I still have the S4. Up here in NJ, needed something for the crappy weather, yes, the S2000 will likley never see rain or snow if I can help it.
Impressions, the S4 (chipped) feels GOBS faster, likley the low end tourque. The S4 handling...well feels like an Oldsmobile now that I am getting to LOVE the S2K handling.
So best of both worlds, a Tip and Chipped high tourque low RPM engine with quattro, and the "buzzy" throw it around S2K.
I forgot to say this, my wife ROCKs for letting me have my toys and fill the 4 garage bays with my stuff.
PS, she drives a YELLOW Xterra...and no the S4 is not Imola, that would have been too much.
Any insight as to the Rear speaker install. Is is really tough and will I lose my front speakers with that. I am looking at the 5" Kenwood kit.
Thanks again, this is a VERY cool place to kill some time.

Well, the wives not driving our cars is probably due to them seeing us out in the garage 4 hours per day, hand rubbing little bugs and dust off our cars, knowing full well, a wreck in the car could lead to divorce proceedings.
I typically treat my car better than my house, so she has the fear of doing anything wrong. Same with the Stereo, I have had a serious HI-End rig for 8 years in differeing states of tune, she will not touch it and listen to new CD's on her $200 boom box, same principal. Finally did get her to drive once, and admitted she liked it, her IS300 is no slouch.
I am another to give thanks to my spouse for allowing me these little toys that make life more fun!!!
