Hum, interesting opinions. I would of purchased the stock 06. If I were to SC an s2000, I would do it out of my own pocket to have confidence that everything was up to par on how I wanted it.

Post proof that the sc was done well (parts, tuning, ect) if possible. Also do a pre-purchase check on both cars. I'd go with the sc car if it were me as long as everything was done well.

If the condition of both is similar (or rather, the condition of the supercharged one meets your minimum requirements) then get the supercharged car. The one thing I constantly desire in my car is more power and it's not cheap to add a kit. If you buy a car with it already installed you are effectively saving anywhere from $3000-8000 between parts, labor, and tuning.

I am going up to look at the car next weekend. Since it's 2.5 hours away the dealer said he will hold it till then for me. They don't have paperwork showing it's professionally installed, but I was able to get in contact with the previous owner and he gave me the name of the shop who put it on and tuned it. Also I worked out a deal with the dealer that I drive it home and have 3 days to get it inspected by a shop near me. If it's no go they will give me full refund. The dealer is very customer friendly. If this doesn't work out I will just get the stock one.

I would go the stock one just because it might have a better chance of not being abused, that said, the price for the s/c'ed one is pretty darn good. Tough choice....but its whatever makes you happy and satisfied at the end of the day bro.

SC will blow an engine or another expensive component in 10,000 miles or less. Stock one will not break for 100,000. Do the math.

What?
People have put thousands and thousands of miles safely on SC motors. As long as it was installed and tuned right it will last!!

What colour are they in? Not that it matters much since one of them is supercharged (and assuming it was indeed installed professionally, and properly)

I would go for the SC one. You can't put a supercharger on a stock S2000 (which you may end up doing eventually) with $1500.
