Here's a thought. Why not get a flat rubber plug to put in the hole?

Maybe you could use little nylon push plugs, and have those painted to match. You probably wouldn't even see them at 10 feet.

I was at the dealer today for an oil and filter change.

On the showroom floor was a yellow S2000 with the factory body kit. I see what you mean, the plastic parts (particularly the strakes) are darker and do not have the pearl appearance of the vehicle.

On a positive note, the car had black enamel H badges that looked ideal.

I have a white car and the factory body kit pieces match pretty well in that color.

Did you re-install the parts?

You might try and get "plugs" that fit... and pain just the plugs. Just an idea. Kinda like what we do for the front license plate holes.

We were talking about this. Mine don't use any drilling into the body.

Ahhman...I didn't know they had to put holes to get the side strakes on.

I guess if you don't want the side strakes that bad...just have the holes filled...and the panel painted. But you will loose the factory paint finish...

I would just keep the strakes on...

Forced options. Isn't that an oxymoron, sort of like military intelligence?
