i dont like my side strakes!
i am one of those who had to get forced options on my s2k... among them are the side strakes, i have a spa yellow pearl and to me they dont blend with the car as well as it would with a darker color. so i tried to remove them and to my surprise there is a hole on each side of the car! what the heck can i do??? will it cost a lot to get the holes filled? and will they be able to match the color, hence will it be noticable?

Filling would be no problem. Matching the paint might require them to paint a lot larger area than the holes constitute.
I'm suprised at what goes on over there with dealers. Being 'forced' to take options is a rort.

Yea, I got the meaning of what you were saying, just never heard the word before...and BTW, I tend to agree with you. Both of mine had just about every option...which I would have gotten anyway, but I never had the choice. No wonder I didn't pay a 'market adjustment' when I was paying 300% of MSRP on the options that I never ordered!
I like the LOOK of the strakes, I hate that they drilled into the body to affix them. I'm doing subtle, but different side skirts anyway...

Yeah, forced options suck. I turned down the first RED car that was offered to me because it was all dolled up. Another RED car came in two days later and I snagged it before it was contaminated by add-on body parts
