You made the right choice, and you got a great price. Way to go!

The tire problem you mention in the Z is well documented. I read about it in (I can't remember) either Edmunds or Car & Driver's long term test article. They had brought it to the dealer to get fixed, and it would be OK for a while, then come back.

Enjoy!

You should register your VIN and become an owner

There's a sticky at the top of this forum that show you how to do it.

I have the black interior.

I like the red/black, but like the Rio Yellow (exterior) I felt that it would become dated and wear on me after a while.

You may be right, but it hasn't happened to me yet! Actually, the more I sit in it, the more I like it. And the responses everywhere I go are uniformly positive.

You made the right choice, interior aside. The 350Z looks like the Incredible Hulk slouching - bigger than life, and completely impossible to accept as anything natural. It strikes me as another car that could have been designed by a Cray - you feed in what the bean counters want, and out it pops. Me no like.

If a car does not look "right" initially, it only gets worse. The S2000 will always look good - in 10 years, the new Z will be just another odd looking Japanese design, like a 70's Celica - no character, nothing you study at length.

sadly the 350z has been referred to as a "frog taking a shit", whatever that means.
