It secret compartment is actually pretty deep. I put my manuals, insurance and registration, and misc receipts there. Sometimes I forget to check there when I am looking for something. But at least we can store certain things out of sight and out of mind.

Just for clarification I would like to add this more obvious but still technically a compartment to our growing list

1 - Glove box
2 - Regular secret compartment
3 - Small cargo areas on the doors/seats
4 - Additional secret compartment that you cannot easily access from the driver's seat.
5 - Sliding door in center console aka cup holder

I am curious to investigate this further now with some clues. But ill have to wait til the car is out of storage lol

I have had my entire interior torn apart once for my alarm install (ex. seats, center console, dash (the whole thing), door panels). I also tore apart the majority of the interior when I installed my audio, and since my car is a delete model CR I can vouche that there is absolutly nothing where the head unit would normally be located.

Honestly if there TRULY is a secret SECRET compartment I dont see why we cant just keep it a "secret" outside the S2000 community? Cmon now were all on the same team, right guys? Were all insiders, we should know the TRUTH!!

I checked this out after your post. It's pretty small, but sure enough, there's a little spot there. LOL. I guess I can try using it as a wallet shelf or something.

It's the only spot I can find that qualifies as a compartment that's reachable from the drivers seat, but much easier if you're out. But I don't really think that qualifies as a compartment. Can one of you all knowers at least PM me if I'm right or wrong

I wish I could keep the faith, but I have lost it. Unless you count the spots that you have to remove panels to access, I'm going to say the super secret compartment has to be a myth. I'd love it if someone would prove me wrong, but I'd probably have better luck by hoping that they will give us a super secret compartment in an S3000 released later this year.

Oooh, are you referring to the one you'd have to remove a panel to get to?
Haha. You could get pretty creative with secret compartments if it involved removing panels. You could stash stuff in the spot where glove boxes usually are (anyone who has installed a Modifry DCI speed controller knows this area), or you could pull off the panel where the stick and emergency button are.

No, the one I'm talking about requires getting out of the car because it's inaccessible while sitting in hard to access from the driver's seat. It doesn't involve removing panels. But this "compartment" isn't actually enclosed. It's just an extra storage spot that is well hidden.
The hooks on the rear cabin wall behind the seat? That is not a compartment. Those are....hooks.

I've seen mention of...

"Two lockable storage units are located behind the driver's and passenger's seats."

but have yet to ever see these.

Well, technically, the two bins on the rear of the passenger compartment, above the rear of the console and below the windblocker are "behind' the seats in that they are closer to the rear of the car. The phrasing does imply a storgaer unit behind each seat but I wonder if this is a translation-to-English issue?

This I-know-something-you-don't discussion is starting to tire; if one knows of a storage area in the car -- spit it out.

Guys!

Can someone please PM me this location and I've started to tear the interior apart looking for this new compartment. Can you please spare me the frustration/ possibly breaking something to look for an additional compartment.

I got a feeling there might be just a LITTLE trolling going on.
