I installed the AP2 front lip and an Alpine 8957 HU for I-Pod connection.

 

What are your thoughts on the Alpine unit? How much was it and where did you get it? Also is there any links to the Ipod Connector? I tried searching but I couldn't find what I was looking for.

The AP2 lip, wher did you get it and how much? Does it come painted?

Two things new owners need to find:
1. The gas door release
2. The "secret" compartment, which usually has the owners manual

I think that you should get the Alpine iDA-X001

You don't need CD's anymore. I have NEVER used a CD since I got my ipod unit... and it's been 3.5 months and counting.

 

And yes, it's a great deal! Congrats!

 

I think you got a steal. Getting a wrecked 2006 for $19K is a pretty good deal, really.

yup. i have it. my radio lid (ap2) closes no prob.

 

Haven't used CDs since I got my Pioneer head unit with an iPod interface as well. That was 1 year ago!
