I got my first dent yesterday
I guess it was bound to happen someday. I've owned my S2000 since the first week of January, 2000 and have managed to keep it scratch and dent free until yesterday. I was driving on a 2-lane road and from out of nowhere I heard a loud bang like a rock bouncing off of some part of the car. I never saw the rock; it could have been kicked up by the car in front of me or someone could have thrown it from the bushes or something. I didn't see any point in stopping, since it wasn't clear exactly what had caused the loud noise.
When I got home about five minutes later, I carefully examined the side of the car and saw nothing, then upon examining the hood, there was a big black mark on the hood, like from a piece of asphalt, and a very small dent in the middle of the mark. It looks like a two inch chunk of the road bounced off of my hood. The black marks are coming straight front to back, so that reduces that chances that someone threw something at me from the side of the road.
So, my question: Can some place like Dent Pro remove a very small dent in the aluminum hood, like they do for steel fenders?

I had little dents taken out of the passenger side rear wheel fender caused by my kids' backpacks. No problem.
I have some scratches, but no dent, in the hood caused by a cardboard box flying out of the back of a pick-up. They are staying because only I know they are there.
