Well, I could resist the lure of the S2000 no longer ... I purchased a Black/Red this evening. I'll take delivery Saturday or Monday (whenever I can get the Credit Union to cut me a check) - but it's mine!

I think I got a hell of a deal:

MSRP
+250 (undercoating and other BS)
-1000 (my negotiating due to 80 miles being on the clock)

= MSRP-750 + tax!!!!!!!

Woohoo!

I only wish I were driving it right now. I thought they'd let me write a rubber personal check for it, and bring in the bank check on Monday, but it was a no-go. I almost walked out when I found out I couldn't have it until Monday, but my wife said 'Let's get it!' - so I went with that!

What are some good accessories to start out with? So far, I'm thinking 7/8 aeroscreen + team voodoo knob + clear side markers from Ricks2k.com; floor mats (non-luxury) from Muz...

I'd like to get JDM headlight housing, but they look like they'd be expensive ...

Sound good? Any other ideas for a newbie? I'll probably be on a fairly tight mod/accessory budget until I get over the shock of actually buying the car
