I would replace it.
A couple weeks ago, during the Firestone/Ford hearings in Congress, a Firestone safety expert recommended against patching any performance tire. He said that the puncture permits air to enter between belts or between belts and tread. Then if you patch the tire, later, the air can cause a catastrophic tread separation.
I know I've seen lots of advice here before to have screw holes or nail holes repaired. However, I don't know if I would do it.

I have had several punctures and each were patched at no cost. The tires IMO are perfectly safe and have been used at speed and on the track. I cannot affort to spend $200+ everytime I pickup a nail.
BTW, I would not drive a top heavy SUV, overload it, not wear a seatbelt, run low tire pressure, or do anything but concentrate when driving.. the things that kept people with blowouts from handling it.

I would DEFINTELY replace it too. Repairing
highperformance tires isn't allowed overhere
in Europe. Simply because the speed indications on the tire
aren't correct anymore. Hate to blow a tire
going over 200kmph (+130mph), well actaully
at any speed. The insurance wouldn't pay if
they found out that it's a patched tire which caused the problem. I
have don't it once, but the mechanic told me
not to go over 200kmph. He said the problem
was that the tires get very hot at these
speeds and that the repair may get loose.

I had a screw in one rear tire, a nail in the other. Both were repaired back in November, and they are both holding up fine so far. I just wanted to make the tires last until I could replace them (they are pretty bald), and replacement happens tomorrow, so the repairs served their purpose...
