Default I Hate Pollen!!

It looks like its that time of year again. The yellow sh$% is all over my car. I washed my car yesterday, and about an hour or two later it was all over it again! I know it only lasts a few weeks, but I love my car too much to see it so dirty, so besides washing it every day, what can I do to keep it clean?

Thank you in advance, any help on this aggrevating subject would be great! Greg

By the way, my car is silverstone w/black int.

there is nothing you can really do but just wash it every now and then. i just spray it all off with the hose and then dry it. it works for me very well. as long as your car has no dirt all over it as well

We went through the same about a month ago, and as if it wasn't bad enough the Oak tree in my driveway is now dropping the flowers that produced the pollen. When wet the little bastards release tannins that stain everything!!!!! I bought a cover the same day I got my car and it makes a big difference.

get a california duster.....only takes me around a half minute to dust the entire car.....don't worry about scratches...if you take care of your paint that won't be a concern.

Thanks for the info. I guess you can buy one at any automotive store?

If you have a blower vac it'll do the job and doesn't require contact.

ditto kamehamaha's suggestion of the California car duster (large size). It cleans pollen and brake dust off the car for in between washes

When I lived in Georgia, I couldn't stand all that damn Pine Tree pollen. Just like some of you are experiencing, we had yellow cars, houses, streets, you name it. Until it rained and then we had yellow rivers. It's useless to wash your car in the spring. Good idea on the California Duster.
