The BEST thing I've found is a self serve car wash with Spot Free Rinse. Nothing ever touches your car but water and NO spots, yet it gets all that service dust/crud off your vehicle. Not sure if you have this in your part of the country.

 

I thought the smog was bad in LA until I moved to Georgia and experienced my first spring with YELLOW pine tree pollen haze all over and in everything for 2 months. I moved back to LA. There's very little smog left with clean burning cars and fuel.

 

If you don't like pollen you can put a couple of Claritin pills in the intake box. Should "clear" up the problem
