that don't focking match!!

This is the second and second method we've used to try and match my paint. I'm glad the Honda paint code don't match it..... even the scan of my gas door didn't match right... I hate this color now for the simple fact of its costing me assload of money.

Complete color change is now in my head because if I'm repainting my whole car.. its not going back to silverstone just to match.

Vent over.. I'm pissed!




(side note info- I got hit by a hit n run and nobody saw it while my car was parked... so now my car doesn't match after it got fixed)

 

the color is beautiful but yes metallic colors are hard to match......I have soome small pebble chips on the bottom bumper and ugggh the color match was horrible on diff touch ups so I can live with small stuff. I dunno if you find a good painter they can match it but this takes skill...........I'm sure this can be fixed. I'm sure someone will move this to s2k talk though. good luck!

the painter is great.. what he painted is deep and gorgeous.. don't get me wrong, the color is pretty but when its been ran through the HONDA paint code and don't match... then scanned and don't match... something is up with this freakn color. I've heard nightmare stories about it not matching and now im one of them.

My room mate has silverstone and his is acutally silver.. for whatever reason both times my parts keep coming out a darker gray and less silver..

So, did you become roommates because you both own S2000s, or did one buy a Silverstone because his roommate had one?

Seriously though, do you ever get your two cars mixed up?

 

I know how you feel Jake. Thats one of the most comented part about my car...."The front dont match the car" Well, I say; "Too bad!!! You pay to match it or STFU!!" That usually works for me

Besides, look at your mirrors, they dont match the car and that's from the factory!!!

 

silverstone is crazy color change I was filling her up and she was in the sun and she looked liek a sebring from a distance while i was paying the cashier!

I had mine first then he got his and I recently needed a new room mate.. soo.. and nah.. mods help separate them

I've known the guy for years though.

I'm thinking I'll just paint it moonrock or a darker gray like a gunmetal color. Maybe the darker grey that comes on the new E46 M3's
