I'd just like to share a little story with you folks. I'm a Captain in the FD here. There was a ricer out street racing one night in his Civic. He came up to a VERY slight S-bend in the road and lost control of his car. He hit a brick column in an iron fence. The 3 foot square capstone from the column came through the windshield and removed a sizeable triangular piece of his head. He then flew up into the air striking a flag pole in the middle of the pole. Continued flying through the air across the parking lot, then a two lane road, and struck a brick wall hard enough that bricks were found a block over. All of his body panels had come off the car. When we took him out of the car, part of his brain fell out onto the ground. He lived on life support for a week somehow.

I'm sure he would have talked bad about VSA too. I'm sure his family wouldn't now.

I'm sure he also thought he was a fantastic and invincible street racer like Tenacious-D low-oil.

I love my VSA. All the stories about pre-VSA S2000s spinning out really scared me. They were just doing minor turns at speed a little higher than what they should have and bam. I can confidently say that VSA has saved me twice from a spin out on wet roads.

In any case, if you wanna drift your 2007, you need to remove the CDV and turn off VSA. You won't be doing any awesome drifts without major mods though, i.e. RS-R S2000.

I drive a sock 01 and when the rear tires(mx's) are at the wear bars driving in the rain is scary s hell. In a straight line on the highway at about 65mph the smallest puddel will kick the back end out I have been lucky so far, havent spun the car on the street. If it wasnt for autox time it would prob be another story! 01 rear end is twitchy as hell!

Any car with bald rear tires is twitchy.

Stop driving too fast for conditions, and get some new tires already.

I have a suggestion...drop your insurance coverage so that our policies don't go up to cover your accidents.
