Default I have a BIG Question bout the s2k?

Well, im planning on S/C the s2k but everyone tells me i have to change the rear end. My Question; What reat end do i use?? I wanna take it to the Quarter track, so something that can handle more or less 300whp as a daily?? (obviously i wont rag on the car 24/7 but i will take it to the track from time to time) This is my daily driver!

i dont think you have to change the rear end or anything with just a supercharger , but i would to some research on the forced induction thread.

I'd guess your clutch would crap the bed before the rear but thats just my $.02.

You could probably pick up a built civic to run 1/4 miles for the amount you would have to spend to make a reliable s/c s2k. I'm thinking 3.5k for the kit, 1k for ems, 1k for install and tune...and you're not done. You'll probably need to get a better diff and clutch to handle to extra power....all that adds up.

You don't have to change the rear end if you're getting a supercharger and keeping it around 300 whp. There are some people with blowers that don't change a thing on their car.
If it was me, I would just get an upgraded clutch and a reinforced rear differential housing.

Not everyone spends 11K for a 286 rwhp S2000 like you

There are ways to do it cheaper like the other poster said! My first turbo install at 350 rwhp on 7psi only cost me 6500.
