Default I HEEL TOED!

I know for most of you it's no big deal but I just purchased my car (not my DD) and have been trying to work on it. I would either rev the $*&t out of it or be late releasing the clutch or brake late or ealry you get the idea. Basically a cluster. Well not tonight. Had to run to the store and on the way home hit it just perfect. NOW I UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU WERE TLKING ABOUT!! Smooth as a babies ass.

Dork I know. Just had to share. My wife doesn't get what the big deal is.

Congrats!

I'm still not as smooth at it as I'd like. Especially 3-2. Damn you, 3-2.

This is true.

You'll find that HTing is very easy in the S compared to other cars; the placement IMO is perfect.

Nice job, it feels great doesn't it. You'll only get better, took me a few months to get fast and consistent heel toe with a 99 civic ex. Not a bad transmission/clutch but the throw is huge and its not exactly a sports car, can't wait til I have my S.

It's pretty rewarding once you start getting it! My shoes are huge so it's a little tough for me to use my heel, I more use the left side of my shoe for the brake and the right side of my shoe for the gas

It took me forever to learn how to heal and toe in my Civic.......seems peddle position is much better in S2K that makes it so much easier to H/T. I guess some aftermarket peddles would solve the Civic issues but instead I bought a S2k.....problem solved.

Heel toe is easy to do in the S2k at moderate braking. Some cars pedals may feel non-optimally placed, but if you factor only at-the-limit full braking when blipping the throttle, those cars have perfect pedal placement.

It's like getting smooth shifts and launches. Once you relax a little it's so easy it leaves you wondering why the heck it ever gave you problems.

It's also like walking. No matter how good you are at it or how much you practice, you'll still trip once in a while.
