I just hate when this happens...
Great times dealing with oil lately:
1. Post office returns my Blackstone labs sample because it was "hazardous material". I later convince them it's OK, but that's no guarantee they won't kick it back again.
2. Get some MT-90 to replace the tranny fluid. No problems there.
3. Pop off the fill and drain bolt and lower the car. Notice the sample bottle sitting on the driveway.
Try to get the car back up, but it's too late and I find:
4. When the car was lowered, the tranny fluid "gushed" out, and most of it misses the drainpan, messing up the driveway

5. While filling, the bottle/hose contraption springs a leak, getting my hand and arm thoroghly lubed.
6. I get back in the house stinking of oil, the wife's pissed, the kid's hungry, and my clothes are a toxic waste dump.
So how was your day?

My diff fluid change was a nightmare. First I drain the old oil. It looked new and flowed way too quick. I then use my new Griots Garage pump and spill the LE 607 on the workbench. Then the pump filler is bent just right that I have to route it through the frame brace, start to pump and it comes out and gets all over the diff housing. It took longer to clean up than it took to do the change...
That and my Honda Certified car needs new front pads after I put less than 5k on it.
