Wow, so many details have gone into our cars! Everything from design to testing, this video was great. It also tests S2000 on the race track with Integra Type-R. (had a head start) and it took S2000 lap and a half to pass the Type-R. They also noticed that by changing the wheels to optional BBS rims, (looked like stock wheels for J-spec S2000) the car was about 1sec faster because the wheels were little wider. I love my car even more after seeing this video

did it show footage of any modified S2000s? or just all stock ones?

 

Just stock ones. It just shows the steps Honda took to make S2000. They show couple proto types also. I got this video from my local Japanese book store.

 

Does this video have a particular name? I'd be very interested in finding out about this....

The title of this video is "Honda S2000" and it is made by HyperRev. It cost $35 at my local book store. It shows Akira, GT car driver driving the S2000 around the track. It also go through each part of S2000 in detail with the cheif engineer. If you can understand Japanese, this video is great. (Thank god I do) But even if you don't, you should enjoy the track part.
