Default I knew rage today..

Come downstairs to detail my car, and I see a white line a few inches above my driver's side side marker. Fetched a towel to wipe it off, well it won't come off! Upon closer inspection I got f##king keyed! A jagged three inch scratch about a millimeter wide. I almost lost it, ok I did lose it. I was one angry dude.. Called my friend and we tried some Meguiar's Scratch remover, didn't do squat. Stopped buy a pro detailer, and he said he could buff it and compound it and it would look ok...but not perfect. He told me the only way to get it perfect would be to paint the whole front panel, $300.00. Woe is me..

So, to the others who have been keyed or scratched, is there no other alternative? Anyone find a miracle product that really makes a difference in deep scratches? I'll try a search now, but I needed to vent.....still venting...

If the scratch went down to the primer, you're not going to have any other choice except to repaint the fender.

You might ask Pinky about what you have to do. He has been through this. Pinky?

Sorry to hear that. There's some rotten mongrels out there. I guess knowing that their lives and sense of self-esteem are so miserable should give you some comfort.

Dude that SUCKS!!! Sorry to hear of your misfortune, but don't sweat it so hard, it could have been worse...ask Pinky. Find the best place in town to do the repaint and you'll be fine.

Damn shame. Stones are one thing. But to harm a beautiful car they have to be a total loser. Could be time for an alarm system.
