I am sorry to hear these kind of stories. I'm of the old school and Western justice. Get me a rope! When I drive my one week old stook to work (or any other place it will be sitting for a while), I install my just received Calif. car cover. Keeps prying eyes (and hopefully sharp objects) away from my baby.

What kind of pathetic souls do this kind of thing? I feel for you. Good luck with the repairs.

sorry to hear about the low life that touched your car...
don't remember the exact movie quote, but john travolta in pulp fiction talks about his malibu being out of storage and getting keyed by some low life... he gives an interesting description of what he would do to a person he caught touching his car. I'll have to pop in the dvd to check the scene. just listening to it might make you feel better.

Sorry to hear about your car. It's probably best that you didn't catch them in the act though, no sense in going to jail. When I was in high school my father was in the military so we moved alot. My first day at Hayfield High School just outside of Washington D.C. I had BMW 325 that was almost a year old. I came out to the parking lot after my first day to find a huge dent in the driver side door with an obvious footprint in the middle. Two guys in a truck a couple spots down were snickering and said hey, there's one on this side too. I walk around to the passenger side and instantly became even more enraged than I already was. After a quick scan of their boots and a couple more smart ass comments I charged them. Slammed the drivers door on one until I was done with the other one and then pulled the driver out and finished. I was expelled from school, severely injured one of the guys and still had a car that needed to be fixed. It took me a while but I did eventually realize that there was nothing good that came of my actions. Would I do the same thing again, probably.

Thanks guys, I feel less enraged now that a day has passed. Its just that every time I walk to the car, that scratch is all I freakin see. I've decided to let the detailer do his thing (it's only $15), if his job sucks I'll repaint the panel. I'll update on how the detailer does so other silvers will know of this as an option for scratches. Don't have a digital camera but I'll try and borrow a friend's to take before and after photos.

You guys are right, we own this unbelievable car!
