You guys are required to have a license plate on the front in your states? I've never heard of that in America...
many states require them actually... i know in ohio it goes up for appeal every year, and every year, it gets shot down... so we are required to run a front and rear

Always...It's freakin' annoying. And just as annoying as bikers revving thier engines when they are around the car.

Example: I was driving my dad to the stereo shop to pick up his truck. Stop and go traffic on the freeway. A guy in a sportbike rides by in between cars during traffic. Revs his engine right when he passes my car. My dad asks why he revved at me. I explained that it's probably because of my HRC sticker on the back and thinks I'm a rider(his way of acknowledging another rider).

At least that's what I've been told by other friends that ride...easier to do instead of a wave.
He may have thought you were a rider, or he may have just been revving to let cars know he was splitting lanes and didn't want to be run over...it's a pretty common practice.

when i lived in CA, i never had my front plates on, eventhough im suppose to. I was pulled over by CHP in my ITR once, never mentioned anything about me not having front plates but he did wanted me to pop my hood open.
-but since im now in Va, ive had my plates on, and i know how Va cops are.

It's required here in Utah, but it seems like only 50-60% of cars actually have one. I don't have one, and I've never had any trouble. I've been pulled over a few times, but they've never even mentioned it.

That's because we have silverstone. The color is basically invisible. Stealth mode is kinda nice actually.

I just run a front plate even if it doesn't look as cool to have it. Why give the cops another excuse to target me?
