I miss my S2000
My S2000 is my daily driver, and this constant shitty winter weather has me depressed. I have to drive my car because my other car that I recently purchased is a 1994 NSX. I know, I'm crazy, lol. The NSX is in pristine condition and looks like it has never seen a winter it's entire life, so it stays in the garage. But dailying the S is taking it's toll, cause I can't enjoy it, I can't put the top down without having to put 5 layers of clothing on. I miss summer, and the awesome cruises we have, driving down the highway on those hot summer nights.
So... I want a sedan/wagon as a daily (09-11 BMW 328i m-sport - around $20k), but I'm not willing to own 3 cars, or afford 2 car payments, which is insane, but I think about selling the S and it almost brings me to tears. Whereas the NSX, while it's been an absolute blast and a dream come true, hasn't taken my heart like the S has. It's crazy I know, but I'm more attached to my S than the NSX. Maybe I'm just ranting I dunno, maybe it will be all better once warmer weather hits, and I'm sure it will, but I had to get some of my thoughts out there cause it's driving my crazy. lol
My S2000 is like a long term relationship. Dependable, reliable, still enjoy it even after 6 years of ownership. The NSX is like that hot weekend/month fling during the summer, but you eventually move on, not attached. It's crazy I know, but here I am, stuck at work, staring at pictures of either car, and for some reason, where my S2000 gives me goosebumps cause I miss it so much. The NSX? Not so much, I'm like, man that thing is awesome, but I don't miss it nearly as much as my I miss the S. Am I insane? lol

Doesn't sound insane at all. While the NSX is nice, I think the popularity for it is because it's rare. If you're not attached to it, you're not attached to it.
I'm sure you can sell the nsx for a pretty penny and be able to get a decent sport sedan. Sick ass cars btw!!

Definitely wait it out man, only a month or less of this crappy weather and then it should warm up.
I know that feel though, most of the guys who DD the s2k especially if its the first time dailying in the winter feel the same way, but I know that if you can get through the cold harsh winter months without selling the S you'll fall in love all over again once the weather gets to be 70 again

Owning 2 of Honda's true sports car is definitively a win in my book, and something we all have inspired to own at one point or another. However if you are not able to drive them comfortably due to the winter weather I would sell the one you can live without. It seems like that would be the NSX. Once sold you could get a better daily driving that can sit outside Evo/STI/truck??
I live in San Diego so I don't know what it is to drive in super bad weather but if I did, I think an AWD turbo would be my choice for a daily.

How often will you drive the NSX, even when the weather is right for it? Nice weather will probably at least be split between the S and the NSX. And how long do you think it will be before you get tired of the NSX and want something else? The S is just a more accessible, more rewarding car IMO. You won't be as afraid to really drive it, and the repair bills are a fraction of what you'd see with the NSX. If you really have to sell one of them and can't wait it out, my vote is to keep the S and sell the NSX.
How about this. We trade my S2k for your NSX, straight up.
You like what you like. Why go to a fancy restaurant if what you really crave is just a burger and fries? Luckily for you, the NSX is worth a lot more than the S2k. Sell the NSX and free up some cash.

Keep both and buy a beater!
You have 2 amazing cars and are ahead of the game. This winter was the worst in decades and it's almost over. We have 2 weeks until the weather starts warming up.

Any reason you don't buy a cheap winter beater? Pickup a used civic or something. The S would get old real quick if I had to drive it through this horrible winter. The s2k makes a miserable cold weather car. Hell, the nsx would make a better snow car if it wasn't rare/more expensive.
