I miss my S2000
I am in agreement with all who say keep both and buy a beater! Thats why I just picked up a simple manual Tacoma 2002 for $7.5K. (76Kmiles) It kinda fun to drive and its dependable. Good for hauling the dogs or other stuff around when I need too. Dependable. Don't worry if I leave it at the airport parking lot.
Another vote for beater. Just something to drive when its not worth driving the S. When there is snow, ice, or just salt and sand on the roads, or when its well below freezing.
If you sell the NSX to buy something as new as an '09 Beemer, its going to be too nice to sit outside all year and not be driven. So buy something that is fun to drive, but cheap, that you won't mind leaving outside, that you can use to haul stuff and people too big to fit in either 2 seater. Something good in the snow. Something as upscale as a Beemer.
Since it appears you aren't averse to the maintainence requirements of german cars, may I suggest an Audi. One of the older 2.7T powered versions. Either sedan or the Allroad wagon. One from around '00-'04. Upscale interior, AWD, lots of twin-turbo power, fun to drive. Very cheap. One with around 100k miles can be found for the $4k range. The trick is to find one that was well cared for and has all the maintainence records.

I have 3 fun cars- my 67 Shelby GT500, my 56 Ford, and my S2000....everyday I drive a piece of junk Ford Escape that I bought for $4500
It looks like hell but it hauls stuff if need be, fits 2 kids easy and if they spill things in it I just dont care...also if there is a parking spot up front but its tight, I dont care- if I can make it fit I park there lol - go ahead, add another door ding to it! lol
Raining? Muddy shoes? who cares!
Yeah it takes humility to drive a piece of junk everyday- but as long as I know my babies are safe in the garage waiting for the weekend....its all good!
