I Mod'ed Rick's Areoscreen
Well, I was detailing my car on Friday and applied some 3m plastic polish to the inside of my rear window, lowering my newly installed Rick's aero screen. After that, I opted to vacuum... my Muz mat.
I read Rick's detailed instructions and noted his advisory NOT to lower the top when the aero screen is down...
**SNAP!**
Did it anyway.
The good news is that there was no damage to the rear window.
The bad news, it started snowing in Dallas right after I detailed and waxed my car.

Rick,
Have you seen the wind deflector on the 2001 Porsche Boxster S? It's much like the one that several people had recommend that you build for us (Porsche engineers must have been reading the original thread), instead of the one you decided on. Check it out, maybe you could offer it as an option, call it version 2.0.
